Cool Move has operated refrigerated transport across Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah since 2018. What You Need to Rent a Refrigerated Vehicle
Most customers are on the road the same day. What you’ll need depends on whether you book as a business or an individual, and whether you take the vehicle self-drive or with a driver.
The licence rule: For self-drive, the vehicle class decides the licence. A standard UAE light-vehicle licence covers the 1–1.5 ton vans. The 3–10 ton trucks are over 3.5 tonnes and need a UAE heavy-vehicle licence. Don’t hold one? Book the vehicle with a driver instead — every driver is licensed for the vehicle class, and you need no licence of your own.
