Bulk Frozen Transport: Freezer Truck for Rent in Fujairah & RAK

A freezer truck earns its keep on the long runs — the full-day ice-cream round, the cold-store distribution, the bulk seafood haul off the port. These are jobs where a load sits at −18°C to −25°C through hours of driving and stop after stop, and the risk builds with every mile and every door that opens.

That’s the job ours are built for. Our freezer truck for rent in Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah carries 3 to 10 ton at a deep −18°C to −25°C, with a tail lift for palletised frozen stock loaded fast at dock height. And a standby unit sits behind every long run, so a fault mid-route never turns into a thawed load.

Run from our own depots in Dibba Al Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah City, with rates from AED 350/day — self-drive, or with one of our drivers.

With Frozen, the Route Is the Risk

Most people picture the danger to frozen cargo as the heat outside. On a bulk run, the bigger enemy is the clock. A full frozen load doesn’t go door to door — it goes out for hours, dropping at stop after stop, and every one of those stops is a door opening on a −25°C box, letting warm air flood in that the unit then has to claw back before the next drop.

Do that six or eight times across a day and the misses add up. A load that was solid at the first drop can be soft by the last if the truck hasn’t got the depth to recover between them. That’s why a freezer truck rental for bulk work isn’t judged on whether it reaches −25°C once — it’s judged on whether it holds there all day, drop after drop.

The Operations We Run Frozen Trucks For

Bulk frozen work is really a set of routes, each with its own pressure:

Ice-cream distribution — multi-outlet rounds through summer, where one stop that runs long can soften a whole drop. The truck has to hold deep between deliveries, not just at the depot.

Frozen seafood from the ports — bulk collection off Fujairah and Saqr, moved deep-frozen to cold store before the catch loses grade. Volume and speed both matter here.

Frozen meat and poultry — cold-store-to-retail distribution in full pallets, where a steady −25°C the whole route is what keeps the load export- and audit-ready.

Frozen importers and FMCG — FAFZA and RAKEZ volumes moving on to distributors, often a full truckload consolidated into one run.

Picking the Size — Frozen Fills the Box First

Here’s what catches people out: frozen cargo is bulky for its weight. Ice-cream cases, glazed seafood, boxed frozen meat — they take up space fast, so a frozen load usually fills the box before it ever hits the weight limit. Size by how much room your pallets need, not by tonnage alone. All four sizes hold the same −18°C to −25°C, so the choice is purely about volume:

Size
Best for
3 tonSingle-outlet frozen runs, tight city access
5 tonMulti-outlet distribution rounds
7 tonCold-store-to-retail bulk
10 tonFull-load frozen freight

The Backup That Rides Behind Every Long Run

On a long frozen route, a refrigeration fault isn’t a breakdown you can wait out. A full load sitting an hour while someone looks for a repair is a load already thawing — miles from base, on someone else’s schedule. That’s the risk that makes bulk frozen different from any other hire.

So we keep a standby truck ready. If a unit struggles mid-run, we dispatch a replacement to transfer the load and keep it moving — before it softens, not after. You’ll want that cover on the jobs where it matters most: long multi-drop rounds, a full day on the road, or a high-value frozen load you can’t afford to lose. It’s the difference between a fault being a delay and a write-off.

Freezer Truck for Rent in Fujairah

Our Dibba Al Fujairah depot puts a freezer truck for rent right where the frozen volume starts — the ports. Bulk frozen seafood off Fujairah and Khor Fakkan moves straight to cold store, and frozen supply runs out to the coastal resorts, without a truck driving in from Dubai to begin the job.

Freezer Truck for Rent in Ras Al Khaimah

From our Ras Al Khaimah City depot, we run the emirate’s frozen bulk work — RAKEZ processors moving frozen product in volume, ice-cream and frozen distribution rounds across the city, and frozen imports off Saqr Port heading inland to cold stores.

What Freezer Truck Hire Costs

Rates are published up front — here’s what a freezer truck for rent costs, by size and plan:

3 tonfrom AED 550 from AED 2,700 from AED 9,500
5 tonfrom AED 750 from AED 3,500 from AED 11,000

10 tonfrom AED 1,250from AED 7,500from AED 18,000

Running a box at −25°C is the most expensive cold there is to hold — so half-filling a big freezer truck means paying to freeze empty space. We’d rather size you right than rent you more truck than the load needs. Every rate covers the truck, tail lift, temperature monitoring and mileage across both emirates; add a driver, or self-drive.

Before You Book — Licence, and Clearing the Gate

A freezer truck comes with two conditions a van doesn’t — the licence to drive it, and the paperwork to get the load accepted:

  • Licence — tAll our 3–10 ton trucks need a UAE heavy-vehicle licence for self-drive. No heavy licence? Take one with our driver — most bulk-frozen clients do.
  • How it arrives — the truck reaches you pre-frozen, already down at −25°C with the tail lift ready, so your load goes straight in without waiting for the box to pull down.
  • Clearing the gate — frozen food refused at a cold-store or hypermarket bay for missing paperwork is your loss, not the carrier’s. Our trucks run HACCP, Fujairah and RAK Municipality approval, and MOCCAE clearance, so the load is accepted where it lands.
  • To book — tell us the load, pallet count and dates; we confirm the size, a firm rate and availability, and you collect or we deliver.

Common Questions

That’s exactly what it’s built for. The unit holds −18°C to −25°C continuously and has the depth to recover between drops, so the load stays solid at the last stop as at the first — not just cold when it leaves the yard.

As a rough guide, 3 ton suits 4-6 pallets, 5 ton around 8-10, 7 ton up to 14 pallets, and 10 ton for a full-load run — but pallet height and packing density shift that, so tell us the count and we’ll confirm the exact size rather than you guessing from tonnage alone.

No extra charge, and you don’t need to be on-site — our team handles the load transfer between trucks directly, and you’re kept updated on timing so you know exactly when the run continues.

Yes, as long as it’s all frozen. Everything sitting at −18 to −25 travels together fine in one box. The only thing you can’t combine is frozen and chilled at once — that needs a dual-zone truck, not a freezer truck.

The truck runs a continuous temperature log, so you get a record of the full trip — the proof a cold store, exporter or auditor needs that the chain never broke, not just a reading at handover.

The tail lift lowers palletised stock to ground level, so a driver with a pallet truck can complete a drop without a forklift at the receiving end — useful for the sites that have no dock.

Freezer Truck or Freezer Van — Which Fits Your Load?

Both hold the same −18°C to −25°C — the choice is about volume, not temperature:

Sending a truck for a couple of tubs is paying for space you won’t fill; splitting a bulk frozen round across van trips risks the load at every extra door. Not sure? Tell us the pallet count and route, and we’ll point you to the right one — freezer van or truck.
